Grey Cup futures

A month into the season the Grey Cup future odds for the historic 100th Grey Cup have already gone through a few changes at

Before the season kicked off the Grey Cup favorites at were the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. After five games the Ti-Cats have been overtaken by the B.C Lions on the CFL futures. Right now the Lions are listed as a 13/4 favorite win the Grey Cup, followed by the old favorites, the Ti-Cats at 7/2. The Lions are off to a 3-2 start to the season behind a solid offense led by quarterback Travis Lulay. Andrew Harris has also helped bolster the Lions running game for a more balanced attack.

The Tiger-Cats may have slipped a little on the futures odds, but they’re still the best team in the East right now. A lot of the credit has to go to quarterback Henry Burris, who leads the league with 15 touchdown passes. The Tiger-Cats have the No. 1 scoring offense in the league right now, but will need to keep scoring a ton of points to keep winning games. The Hamilton defense has allowed more points than any team in the CFL right now.

Following the Tiger-Cats on the odds are the Saskatchewan Roughriders at 4/1 and the Toronto Argonauts at 5/1. Saskatchewan started the season on fire with three straight wins, but they quickly come back to earth after losing two in a row. dopoxetine online Last week’s loss to Hamilton was especially disheartening as the Roughriders were leading 33-14  only to go to lose 35-34. A more consistent performance from QB Darian Durant could fix things and get the Roughriders rolling again.

The Argonauts haven’t posted a winning record in five years. That could finally change if Ricky Ray continues to ignite the offense. However, like Hamilton the Argos defense isn’t pulling their weight right now and need to improve quickly to keep Toronto near the top of the East.
