Hoops, Daytona highlight sports week ahead

The first race of the NASCAR season and the second half of the NBA season both sit on the sports betting slate for the week ahead, along with a marquee golf tournament, some top games on the ice, and several key conference clashes on the college floor.

Bettors get the first Sprint Cup Series race of the season on Sunday afternoon this week, with Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kyle Busch currently sitting as the 10/1 co-favorites on the Daytona 500 betting lines at Sports Interaction. Denny Hamlin and Tony Stewart are then each at 12/1, with several drivers including Jimmie Johnson, defending Series champion Brad Keselowski, Lasix without prescription and defending Daytona 500 winner Matt Kenseth at 15/1.

The NBA puts its All-Star Break behind it this week as teams start to take their playoff positioning seriously. The Los Angeles Lakers enter the second half below the postseason cutoff line in the West at 25-29 SU (and an ugly 21-33 ATS), and they get back in action on Wednesday night against the Boston Celtics (28-24 SU and 22-27-3 ATS). Boston blasted Los Angeles 116-95 at home on February 7, with Paul Pierce scoring 24 points for the Celtics and Kobe Bryant pouring in 27 points for the Lakers.

Los Angeles also plays at home against Portland on Friday night this week and on the road against Dallas on Sunday afternoon. The Celtics will be on a five-game Western swing that also includes games in Denver, Phoenix, and Portland in the days ahead.

We’re less than a month away from conference tournaments in college basketball, with the Duke Blue Devils looking to bounce back from an upset loss to Maryland in their last game on Saturday night. Duke plays at Virginia Tech on Thursday night this week before hosting Boston College on Sunday afternoon. The Blue Devils are 6-0 SU in their last six games against the Eagles but only 2-4 ATS over those half-dozen outings.

Hockey bettors get a full slate of games this week, with the Vancouver Canucks highlighting the action with a road trip through Chicago, Dallas, Nashville, and Detroit. How purchase lasix should I keep stored. The Canucks and Red Wings will clash on Sunday, with the teams having split their last 10 meetings 5-5. The OVER/UNDER went 7-3 for totals bettors in that stretch.

Finally, golf betting has the PGA Tour’s WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship on tap for Wednesday to Sunday this week at The Golf Club at Dove Mountain in Marana, Arizona, while in the UFC it’s Ronda Rousey vs. Liz Carmouche for the women’s Bantamweight Championship at UFC 157 in Anaheim on Saturday night. At Sports Interaction Rousey is the big -1300 favorite over Carmouche (+750) on the MMA odds.
