A new coach and a rash of injuries hasn’t slowed down the Knicks lately. Can they extend their winning streak tonight when the take on the Atlanta Hawks?

New York was missing both Amar’e Stoudemire and Jeremy Lin on Wednesday but were still able to upset Orlando 108-86 as a 1.5-point home underdog to extend their winning streak to three games and it was also their eighth win in their last nine. Carmelo Anthony scored 25 points to go along with five rebounds and six assists, while Iman Shumpert started in place of Lin and delivered 25 points and seven rebounds.

The Hawks have lost two in a row after getting pounded by Chicago 98-77 as a 4-point underdog on Wednesday night. Atlanta’s big guns Josh Smith, Joe Johnson and Jeff Teague combined to shoot 18-for-46 in the loss.

The Knicks have won their three games against Atlanta both SU and ATS. They’re also 6-2 SU and ATS in their last eight versus the Hawks. In their last eight games in Atlanta the Knicks are only 4-4 SU, but they’re a healthy 7-1 ATS.

Boston Celtics at Minnesota Timberwolves

The Celtics are rolling right now having won their last three and five of their last six both SU and ATS. On Wednesday Boston rolled over Utah 94-82 as a 3.5-point favorite. Dallas Mavericks at Orlando Magic

The Mavericks were hammered by Miami 106-85 as an 8-point underdog on Thursday night. Dirk Nowitzki scored 25 points for Dallas while the rest of the Mavericks starting lineup combined to score only 27 points.

Orlando’s 108-86 loss to the Knicks on Wednesday snapped a three-game winning streak. Jameer Nelson led the Magic with 17 points while Dwight Howard was held to only 12 points and five rebounds.

In their last 10 games versus Orlando the Mavericks are 7-3 SU, but only 5-5 ATS. The Over is also 7-3 in those 10 games. On the road in Orlando the Mavs have won five in a row both SU and ATS.
