NBA Weekend Betting Guide – Feb 3

A third of this year’s abbreviated 66-game NBA regular season is already in the books and while most of the preseason favorites have played true to form, there have been a couple surprise teams that have caught our eye not only for their play on the court, but for their impressive record against the spread.
The following is our three ‘best bets’ for this weekend in the NBA featuring teams that have already proven they not only know how to win, but how to cover as well.

Friday, February 3
Miami Heat (-2) vs. Philadelphia 76ers
Miami started the season as the odds-on-favorite to win it all this season and while it comes into this game at a respectable 16-6 straight-up, few people would have believed that Philadelphia is 16-6 SU as well. The starting oral dose purchase lasix for children is 2 mg/kg. The big difference is that the Heat are 9-13 against the spread overall and the 76ers are a NBA-best 15-6-1 ATS. Both teams are currently in top form with Miami winning eight of its last 10 games and Philadelphia going 7-3.
These two met on Jan.21 with the Heat coming away with a 113-92 victory as 6.5-point home favorites. They have now won nine of the last 10 meetings SU, but the 76ers are 3-2 ATS in the last five games. Miami is coming off a 105-97 loss to Milwaukee as a seven-point road favorite to fall to 3-7 ATS on the road, while Philadelphia rolled over Chicago 98-82 its last time out as a two-point home underdog to move to 11-3 ATS at home. Stick with the Sixers to make a statement that they are for real with another big win at home. The Pick: Philadelphia 92 Miami 89

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Denver Nuggets (-3.5)
It has been a roller-coaster ride for Los Angeles as of late with a 5-5 SU record in its last five games. It is 13-9 SU overall and 10-12 ATS. The Lakers have really struggled on the road at 2-7 both SU and ATS. Denver is off to a great start at 15-7 both SU and ATS. It is 7-3 SU and home this season and 6-4 ATS.
These two have already met twice this year with each team winning at home SU, but the Nuggets covered the spread in both games. Denver is now 6-3 SU and 7-1-1 ATS in the last nine meetings overall and 4-1 SU and ATS at home. Stick with the Nuggets and the recent series trends this time around as they win at home and cover the 3.5 points. The Pick: Denver 104 Los Angeles 100

Saturday, February 4
Chicago Bulls vs. Milwaukee Bucks (OFF)
As expected, Lasix reviews Chicago is off to a strong start with 19-6 SU record that is the best in the Eastern Conference, but it has also been profitable at 14-11 ATS. The Bulls have been a solid road team with a 10-5 record SU and 9-6 record ATS. Milwaukee is hovering right around .500 at 10-11 SU and 11-10 ATS. It is 7-2 SU at home and 6-3 ATS.
The Bulls have won the last five meetings SU including a 107-100 victory on Jan.27 as 11-point home favorites and are 4-1 ATS. Chicago is in the midst of a brutal nine-game road trip where it is 2-2 SU and ATS, but in great position to grab a much-needed win against a team it matches-up against very well. Stick with the Bulls to cover as a probable mild road favorite. The Pick: Chicago 98 Milwaukee 90
