Most NBA teams have already played over 25 games of their abbreviated 66-game regular season schedule and while the majority of the preseason favorites have played true to form, a few have been less than stellar so far. There have also been a couple surprise teams that have caught our eye not only for their play on the court, but for their impressive record covering the spread.
The following is our three ‘best bets’ for this weekend in the NBA featuring teams that have already proven they know how to win straight-up as well as against the spread.

Friday, February 10
Los Angeles Clippers vs. Philadelphia 76ers (-4) at Bodog
Los Angeles’ offseason additions, nolvadex without prescription most notably Chris Paul has helped this longtime doormat become a legitimate contender in the Western Conference. It currently leads the other team in town, the Lakers by a game and a half in the Pacific Division with an overall record of 15-8 SU and is 13-10 ATS. The Clippers are 5-5 SU (4-6 ATS) on the road and the total has gone 6-4 in the 10 games.
Philadelphia has been the biggest surprise in the NBA this season with an 18-8 SU record that has it 3.5 games ahead of Boston in the Atlantic Conference. Even more impressive is a league-best 17-8-1 record ATS. The 76ers are 13-4 SU at home and 12-5 ATS with the total staying ‘under’ in 12 of the 17 games.
LA is coming off a 99-92 road loss to Cleveland this past Wednesday as a seven-point favorite and also lost Chauncey Billips for the season with a torn Achilles. The Sixers were thumped by San Antonio 100-90 as 3.5-point home favorites on Wednesday as well.
Philadelphia is 6-2 SU in the last eight meetings and 5-3 ATS. Stick with the 76ers at home in this one as they have yet to lose back-to-back games this season. The Pick: Philadelphia 93 Los Angeles 84

Dallas Mavericks (-2) vs. Minnesota Timberwolves at Bodog
Dallas is third in the Southwest Division at 15-11 both SU and ATS. It is 6-6 SU on the road and 7-5 ATS with the total stayed ‘under’ in seven of the 12 games. The Mavericks are 4-3 SU in their last seven games and 3-4 ATS.
Minnesota is in last-place in the Northwest Division but a respectable 13-13 SU and a profitable 15-11 ATS. It is 7-8 both SU and ATS at home this season with the total has stayed ‘under’ in 10 of the 15 games.
The Timberwolves have won both meetings against the Mavs this season both SU and ATS and are now 4-0 ATS in the last four games. They slammed Dallas 99-82 on New Year’s Day as 2.5-point home underdogs and rolled over the Mavs 105-90 as five-point road underdogs on Jan.25. Look for Minnesota to extend its streak to three with a win at home in a nail-biter. The Pick: Minnesota 98 Dallas 96

San Antonio Spurs vs. New Jersey Nets OFF
San Antonio’s win over the 76ers raised its road record to just 5-8 SU and 6-7 ATS on the year, but it is now 3-0 both SU and ATS in its last three road games. Taking order motilium for 2 weeks at a dose of 30 mg / day. The Spurs are 18-9 SU overall and 16-11 ATS. The total has gone ‘over’ in eight of their 13 games on the road. New Jersey is 1-6 SU and 2-5 ATS in its last seven games after losing to Detroit 99-92 this past Wednesday as a 3.5-point home favorite. The Nets are now 8-19 SU and 12-15 ATS overall. They are a woeful 3-9 SU and 4-8 ATS at home and the total has gone ‘over’ in eight of the 12 games.
The Spurs have won nine of the last 10 games in this series SU, but the Nets are 4-2 ATS in the last six meetings. Despite New Jersey’s recent success ATS, stick with San Antonio to keep things going on the road with another convincing win. The Pick: San Antonio 104 New Jersey 90
